Scholastic Books & Controversy? Why A Beloved Book Fair Vendor is Getting Attacked on All Sides

Scholastic's book fairs were first attacked by far-right extremists for having inappropriate and obscene content. In order to preserve their beloved book fairs, Scholastic announced it would create an optional "Share Every Story, Celebrate Every Voice” diversity collection, an announcement met with controversy since the titles that are optional include books on diversity, including that of Ruby Bridges' own story.
