If It Can Happen in California, It Can Happen Anywhere

On Monday, October 30, The New York Times published a piece on the extremism hitting far-right school boards and the impact that the divisive policies that are being brought have on these communities.

Showing the far-right's true colors, here is one of the more illuminating parts and a quote from the article, from a sitting California State Assemblymember:

"'Mr. Essayli also appeared at the meeting almost 50 miles from his district, where he argued that parents should know and control everything about how their children are educated. “I think it is completely disrespectful that you took a whole hour to listen from children,” he added.""
